Subject: Deadlines for summer/fall NG live term sites

Dear Colleagues:

Below are some deadlines to help you plan ahead for summer and fall. The
sooner you gather your course/section offerings, instructor information, get
your faculty trained in ETUDES-NG, and give us 90%+ of your site requests,
the better.

I will send you reminders on the following with a *full* month to plan, but
here are the dates...

Summer 07:

On 2-Apr, I will send out a request to DL Coords to submit summer live site
requests by May 1. They will be installed a week later. This gives faculty a
month to prepare.

Early Fall 07:

---

On 1-May, I will send a request to DL Coords to submit live site requests by
may 21. They will be installed by June 1.

Late Fall 07 Requests:

---

On 1-Jul, I will send a request to DL Coords to submit your live site
requests by July 27. They will be installed by August 3.

You could vary from the above some, and submit requests earlier, if you have
different needs so that you don't experience delays. We only ask that you do
not send us site files in pieces, as that impacts the workload of many folks
greatly! So, please use the advance notice that we give you to do the
necessary homework to ensure smooth term roll-outs. Being a consortium, it's
hard to match term schedules. It does help us serve you better and more
efficiently, if we schedule this work together.
